The story is told of an eaglet which as an egg was mistakenly placed with chicken eggs to hatch with
them.
From day one this eaglet thought it was a chicken. It would go picking feed from the ground like other
chickens yet something inside him cries for something higher.
A day came while picking the ground to feed, they found themselves at the stream. While trying to drink
he saw an eagle- image of itself in the water. He was so afraid he thought it is the eagle who usually
comes to prey on them. Yet when he looked again, he discovered that the image is its. It is actually
meant to live the life of an eagle not a chicken.
He eventually learnt to fly like an eagle. He left the low life & embraced the higher life.
Friends, God has a higher life for you in Jesus Christ. Jesus Christ came into this world to give to every
man who would receive Him as Saviour and Lord a higher & abundant life; the very life of God.
This life can never be defeated,poor, sick, fail , what have you.
Embrace the higher life today by receiving Jesus Christ as your Saviour and Lord, He will wash all your
sins away & give you a new life in God.
